What matters most is the ability to analyze results, learn from experience, and keep moving forward. MATIK has reached exactly this point. Following the protocol’s launch and the completion of previous series, liquidity was fully redistributed. We gained practical experience with the system, identified its strengths, and determined which mechanisms required improvement. Rather than continuing with the previous model unchanged, we decided to review certain rules, introduce additional limits, and prepare a new operating cycle for MATIK. We are beginning a new chapter — practically from scratch, but with experience we did not have at the first launch. We carry forward an established community, active participants, the history of previous series, and a clearer understanding of how the protocol should develop.

Why Did We Decide to Start a New Cycle?

MATIK is built around the sequential redistribution of liquidity between participants through a system of tracks and series. The operation of this model directly depends on user activity, incoming liquidity, and the conditions required to activate rewards. The previous stage allowed us to study the protocol’s behavior under real operating conditions. We analyzed liquidity flows, track-filling dynamics, participant activity, and the results of completed series. This experience demonstrated how important it is to consider not only the mathematical model but also the real conditions in which it operates. We paid particular attention to initial liquidity volumes, track progression, and potential ways to support participants whose packages remained incomplete. Based on this analysis, we decided to prepare an updated version of the protocol. Our goal is to make the next stage more manageable, easier to understand, and better adapted to actual community activity.

A Complete Reset: Starting From Track One

The new MATIK cycle involves resetting user statistics and beginning a new sequence of tracks. This means:
  • The new cycle starts with the first track.
  • Account statistics are reset to zero.
  • New transactions belong to the new series.
  • The system operates under updated limits.
  • Historical statistics from the previous stage are not carried over into the new account statistics.
  • Participants’ referral structures are preserved.
In this way, the new stage resembles launching a separate project from the very beginning. However, there is one important difference between MATIK’s original launch and this new cycle. This time, MATIK is not starting with an empty community, but with users who are already familiar with the protocol and its mechanisms. At the same time, resetting statistics in the interface does not mean deleting historical transactions from the Polygon blockchain. Records of previously completed transactions remain part of the network’s history.

What’s New in MATIK?

1. Smart Limit System

One of the key updates is the introduction of a dynamic limit system. We decided to link the growth of the protocol’s available limit to community activity. The starting limit for the new cycle is 5,000 POL. Each active user increases this limit by 40 POL. As the number of active participants increases, the available limit grows accordingly. How does it work? For example: These examples illustrate the calculation of +40 POL for each qualifying active user. The actual limit is determined by the protocol’s current parameters. Why did we introduce this system? Previously, initial liquidity volumes could develop without such a direct connection to the number of active users. Now, we want the available capacity to grow alongside the community. This links the protocol’s limits to one of the most important factors in its operation — genuine user participation. The more active participants there are, the higher the calculated limit becomes. We see this approach as an additional tool for managing the development of the new cycle.

2. Voluntary Community Support System

We have also paid special attention to participants from the previous season. After the previous stage ended, some users were left with packages whose reward activation conditions had not been fulfilled. We understand how important this situation is to the community. That is why the updated MATIK roadmap includes a voluntary support system. The idea is to allow participants to contribute funds voluntarily to support users with unfinished packages from the previous season. Core principles of the system:
  • Participation is completely voluntary.
  • Each user independently decides whether to contribute.
  • The program is intended to support participants from the previous stage.
  • The donation program operates separately from the standard participation mechanism in new tracks.
We want the opportunity to support one another to become an additional part of MATIK’s community culture. However, voluntary contributions do not guarantee full reimbursement for unfinished packages. The actual amount of support will depend on the funds contributed and the rules governing their distribution. Detailed information about how the program operates will be provided separately.

3. New Avatars and Personalization

MATIK is more than just a protocol. It is also a community with its own visual identity and culture. In the new cycle, we are expanding account personalization options. Users will have access to new avatars and additional profile customization features. A special addition will be an exclusive skin for participants who support the voluntary compensation initiative through donations. This visual feature will distinguish users who have contributed to the community support initiative. We want to develop personalization features that allow participants to express their individuality and feel connected to the MATIK community.

4. Improved Web3 Wallet Integration

As part of the update, we have also improved how the platform interacts with Web3 wallets. Our main focus has been on making wallet connections and transactions more convenient. We aimed to make the user journey as straightforward as possible:
  1. Connect a compatible cryptocurrency wallet.
  2. Select the participation amount.
  3. Confirm the transaction.
  4. Allow the protocol to distribute liquidity automatically according to its rules.
  5. Track the created package in the personal dashboard.
Interacting with blockchain technology should remain understandable, even for participants without extensive technical knowledge. That is why interface development and user experience improvements remain important parts of MATIK’s ongoing evolution.

5. New Protocol Address

As part of the update, the team introduced a new protocol address on the Polygon network. 6. Complete Account Statistics Reset

One of the most noticeable changes in the new cycle is the reset of user statistics. The new stage begins with zeroed statistics. This applies to account statistics associated with the previous operating cycle. As a result, the new season will build its own history of activity, transactions, and participation. However, we have preserved one important component — the existing referral structure.

What Has Been Preserved?

Referral relationships between participants remain unchanged. Users do not need to rebuild their teams simply because the protocol has entered a new cycle. This allows existing community connections to be maintained and developed further.

What Has Changed?

Statistical indicators for the new cycle begin accumulating from zero. The new series establishes its own sequence of tracks, transactions, and associated metrics. This makes it possible to evaluate the results of the new stage separately, without mixing them with the history of the previous season.

What Remains Unchanged?

Despite the extensive update, the core concept of MATIK remains the same. The protocol continues to use:
  • The Polygon PoS blockchain.
  • The network’s native POL token.
  • A sequential track system.
  • The series mechanism.
  • Automatic liquidity redistribution according to predefined rules.
  • Packages containing participation details and reward activation conditions.
  • The community’s existing referral structure.
We are not abandoning the idea that formed the foundation of MATIK. We are developing it based on everything we have learned.

A New Chapter — A New Responsibility

Restarting the protocol is not just about updating the interface, resetting statistics, or improving technical mechanisms. It is an opportunity to reconsider our approach to the project’s future development. The previous stage demonstrated the importance of community activity, incoming liquidity, and the timely fulfillment of protocol conditions. The new limit system and other improvements are intended to support a more structured development process for MATIK. However, it is important to understand that these updates do not eliminate all risks. MATIK continues to operate according to a liquidity redistribution model between participants. Reward activation depends on the fulfillment of protocol conditions and the availability of the required funds. The new cycle does not guarantee rewards, specific payout times, or protection against losses. We believe it is essential for every user to understand these principles before participating in the protocol.

When MATIK first launched, there were many unknowns ahead. Today, the project has accumulated valuable experience. We have gone through previous series, studied the system’s behavior, and received feedback from participants. This experience became the foundation for our updates. We are now preparing the next stage with a new set of limits, an updated platform, and an already established community. Everything begins again with the first track.
